We are very excited about our THIRD National Hack the Government Day, being held on the 26th March — venue to be decided, it may be somewhere in Whitehall, we are just checking the connectivity, or it may be at the Guardian (where we have pretty much nearly nailed all tech problems down!). 

As ever this day is all about having free reign, doing whatever you fancy and showing it at the end to an audience of interested people, including govvy peeps. We are beating the streets of Whitehall, proclaiming what is about to happen, and the reaction has been, as ever, excited and expectant.

So, if you would like to code a better country, take government data and create prototypes of tools, services, applications or even crime map websites then come along on the 26th March 2011.

We will supply you with copious amounts of caffeine & sugar throughout the day and invite government to the show and tell (with beer and pizza as tradition demands).

If you would like to come to the show and tell at the end of the day you are very welcome, it will be held at 6pm. You can use the sign up form and register yourself for a "6pm Show & Tell" ticket.

If you're a geek, we anticipate that you will be Showing and Telling, anyhow; you need not request a 'Geek' and '6pm Show & Tell' ticket.
